What is Energy Saver RB™

Energy Saver RB is double sided, tri-laminated 99% pure aluminum strengthened with Mylar “thermal blanket” placed in an air space to block heat transfer between a heat generating surface (such as a hot roof) and a heat absorbing surface (conventional attic insulation).

What is happening?

Summer Heat gain

Standard insulation blocks only 10% - ONLY 10% of the heat entering your home's roof.
The R value on the standard insulation stands for resistance , but it does not stop all the heat. The standard insulation system is only 10% efficient! Only 10% against heat!
The popular fiberglass insulation acts like a sponge retaining 90% of heat. This 90% now enters your home through the attic.

Winter Heat Loss

Your traditional heating unit emits heat which travels upward and eventually will be absorbed by the insulation. Heat rises and the heat goes to waste once it hits the attic, because 90% is absorbed by the fiberglass insulation - sponge.
